Your initial visit starts off with a comprehensive complimentary consultation. If you decide that
electrolysis is the solution to your problem, treatments are scheduled. Understand that we will
be dealing with hair growth, re-growth and a breaking down process. To achieve permanent
results, a series of treatments may be required.
A very fine wire filament (probe) is inserted beside the hair shaft into the
follicle down to the dermal papilla (root.) The probe does not pierce the skin.
A small pulse of energy is released, stopping the blood supply to the hair. At
this time you experience a mild tingling sensation. The probe is removed and
the treated hair is lifted from the follicle.
After treatment you may experience redness, swelling or maybe even pin
point scabs.
